The intelligent design of the SHW orthogonal head produces substantial economic efficiencies and high-precision machining of large parts. Special features include:

• The milling head (A-axis) can be rotated through 180° and the milling head adapter through 360° in steps of 1° in each case.				• The universal milling head of orthogonal design offers a choice of 64,800 different machining positions.
• All energy is supplied through the head, no collision contours with lines on the outside of the milling head.     • Each position is automatically assumed and calculated in the NC program.     • Force and interlocking connections ensure that the drive power is fully transmitted and available in every position.
