Danobat Valvecenter

The Danobat Valvecenter is designed to perform the turning, milling and drilling processes in one setup that are required to complete a valve or pump body, dramatically increasing the production rate and improving the quality of the finished part. The turning head provides high-capacity machining and the two drilling heads literally cut the drilling time in half for increased output.  Because a valve can be finished with a single clamping operation, expensive setup operations (such as centering of the valve) are eliminated and the quality of the valve is improved. 

With the Valvecenter’s flexibility, only minimum adjustments are required to produce a wide range of valves.  The Valvecenter reduces cycle time, both in stock removal and intermediate operations, cutting the number of machine operators needed.  The higher production rates and quicker changeover times result in shorter delivery times.  As an added bonus, the Valvecenter requires less floor area than other traditional methods such as a lathe, machining center or transfer line.
Indexing Chuck
Due to its design, the indexing chuck has a very high stiffness, it indexes automatically in the 4 position at 90° and this allows machining the 4 faces of the valve with only one clamping operation.

The reduction of clamping operations to just one single operation, eliminate inaccuracy sources, such as chuck change and result in better performance and a higher quality machined valve.
