The FTV5 Delivers World-Class 5-Axis Machining Capabilities
The new FTV5 is versatile enough to handle the demanding needs of aerospace, die/mold, heavy equipment and job shop applications. Designed to machine complex shapes with fewer setups, the FTV5 features an A & C rotary tilt spindle that provides full contouring capability, and speeds up to 18,000 rpm, delivers 95 ft.-lbs of torque, has a full 40” in the Y-axis and can handle table loads up to 42,000 lbs. The FTV5 uses shorter tools at higher rpm's which increases tool life, reduces vibration and can eliminate time-consuming hand finishing.
