Another GBI Holiday Open House is now behind us and has taken its place in GBI history.   Far more than the average company holiday party, GBI’s Open House keeps its focus not only on celebrating the core GBI Team that works toward continued growth and success day by day, but also on the collection of people who have formed and impressed upon GBI’s past, present and future.

Joined together to share traditions in holiday finger food and drink (and chocolate mice!) was an outstanding group of individuals with stories and histories intertwined with GBI. Previous co-workers, current business associates, vendors and customers mingled; new friends were made and old friends were reunited.  The outstanding individuals creating the core GBI Team brought their family members to share in this social time, getting to know the GBI extended family further and ringing in this holiday season in style.  Even GBI’s National Service Manager, Ron Pieper, and Engineering Manager, Kwee Sun Ng, made the best of an evening spent without their beloved wives and families by finding alternative escorts…  each other.

The evening drew to a close with a lot of laughter, great stories, holiday spirit, a 40^th birthday celebration, a new tie for the C.F.O. and even a little holiday snow!  If you were gracious enough to give a few hours of your busy lives to share with us, we give to you, our friends, sincere thanks and hope that you enjoyed yourselves. !   If you were unable to attend this year’s gathering, your presence was missed!  We at GBI sincerely hope that you’ll find the time to join us in 2005, and on the first Friday in December of many years to come!
